Freed by Christ,
we gather, grow, give and go,
all to glory of god
At Gloria Dei, we welcome everyone to come as they are to our blended worship. We offer traditional music and contemporary pieces. You will see our Praise Team and hear our beautiful organ, along with a variety of special music mixed in. Our worship blends tradition, with confession and forgiveness, the creeds, and the Lord’s Prayer; with a message and prayers offered for today’s worshiper.
What to wear is whatever you are comfortable in.
A Note from Pastor Tim
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Gloria Dei means “Glory to God.” At Gloria Dei, God alone is glorified. God has done all that is necessary for us to enjoy an abundant and eternal life. As God forgives us and calls us, we are set free to live as God’s people in the world, loving God and serving others. Proclaiming this “Good News” is at the center of our life together. Upon hearing and experiencing that “God so loves the world,” we are filled with joy and proclaim “Glory to God — Gloria Dei.”
At Gloria Dei we highlight four main aspects of ministry. We Gather together to hear of God’s love for us as a community of faith. We Grow in faith, hope, and love, through the Holy Spirit. We Give of ourselves to God and the world in response to God’s love for us. And we Go as Jesus commissions us, “to make disciples of all people.” Those four words help define our mission: “Freed by Christ, we Gather, Grow, Give and Go, all to the Glory of God.”
We invite you to commit yourself and your family to participate regularly in worship, learning, fellowship, and service opportunities. By doing so, you will come face to face with the God who loves you, and you will grow in your walk with God.
Christ promises that as we gather in his name, he is present among us. Trusting his promise, as you participate in the life of this congregation, you will meet Jesus and he will change and transform your life forever.
Blessings! Pastor Tim Selbo
