The 1819 Initiative
WHAT IS THE 1819 INITIATIVE?
The 18:19 Initiative is a community development project on Minnesota Avenue between 18th and 19th Street in Sioux Falls. The project will revitalize the area with multi-use spaces, a residential and leadership development program for young adults ages 18–30, and a permanent home for tre Ministries.
WHY 1819?
Because investing in young adults is investing in the future of Sioux Falls.
The 18–30 years are a pivotal season when people are making decisions that shape their careers, relationships, faith, and future. 18:19 creates a place where young adults can find community, develop leadership skills, grow in purpose, and become active contributors to the city around them.
