Meet Spencer

Spencer is from Sioux Falls and was first introduced to tre in 2019, but his journey really began in 2021 when he started coming regularly. At first, he was looking for a space for quiet time and had yet to find a community, but it didn’t take long before he got involved in tre’s events and started building lasting friendships.

Being involved at tre grew Spencer in ways he never though possible. It made him a better person and in his own words, “a more hospitable follower of Christ.”

In 2023, he joined tre staff as our Production and Facility Supervisor, where he helps create an environment where everyone feels welcome and events run smoothly. He knows that coming for the first few times can be intimidating, but he also knows that if you keep showing up, you’ll find community and your life will be changed for the better.

Spencer’s advice for young adults: no matter what you have been going through, you can put a smile on your face at least once while here.
