Faith in the Waiting
Waiting is one of the hardest parts of faith.
We pray. We plan. We hope.
But when things don’t move as quickly as we imagined — when doors stay closed or timelines stretch longer than expected — it’s easy to start wondering if God’s even listening.
Maybe you’ve been waiting for clarity on your next step, healing in a relationship, or breakthrough in something that feels stuck. You’ve done all the “right” things — prayed, journaled, sought wisdom — yet the silence still lingers.
Here’s the truth: waiting isn’t wasted when God is in it.
Scripture reminds us, “Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength” (Isaiah 40:31). But that doesn’t mean waiting is passive. It’s active trust — choosing to stay faithful when the outcome isn’t visible. It’s learning to release your grip on control, not because you’ve stopped caring, but because you’ve started trusting.
Waiting is where God does some of His deepest work.
It’s where character grows, motives are refined, and dependence on Him becomes real — not just something we say, but something we live.
So if you’re in a season of waiting right now, you’re not being overlooked. You’re being shaped. The delay might not be punishment; it might be preparation.
When you can’t see the full picture, remember who holds today, tomorrow, and every day.
Trust that God hasn’t forgotten your prayers, and that His timing — while often different than ours — is never off. The waiting may not feel like progress, but it’s where faith learns to breathe.
Praying for patience and deeper trust in the Lord and his timing today!
