By definition to equip means- "to provide someone with what they need to fulfill their purpose." But not just any purpose, a God-given purpose. A purpose that is much greater than anything you could have ever asked or imagine.

"I don't feel ready"

"I'm just not there yet"

"I could never do that"

These are all versions of "I'm not equipped" we mutter to ourselves throughout our day, week, and even year. We think we have to achieve this certain standard or guideline before we do anything "worthwhile". This simply isn't true!

Through this devotional, we hope that you realize what it means to be equipped according to God's Word and God's calling on your life! That you realize being equipped doesn't mean being ready, but instead, it means being willing to go where God calls you because He has already equipped you!
