Love Your City 2025: 128 People, 11 Projects, One Purpose.

Over the span of four days, 128 people came together to volunteer for a purpose bigger than themselves: to love their city well. Yes, you read that right—96 hours, 11 projects, and 8 different nonprofits were impacted in Sioux Falls and surrounding areas!

From July 14–17, tre Ministries hosted the first-ever “Love Your City: A Week of Intergenerational Serving”—and it was an unforgettable start to what we hope will be a long-standing tradition. Whether it was grandparents serving alongside their grandkids, coworkers uniting to make a difference, or youth leaders and teens jumping into multiple projects, the week was filled with purpose, joy, and community.

Some of our favorite moments from the week:

👏 COLLABORATION & UNITY.
Churches, businesses, and nonprofits joined forces to serve Sioux Falls tangibly and intentionally.

🤝 INTERGENERATIONAL TEAMWORK.
Grandkids, grandparents, and every generation in between took part. Watching people of all ages serve side by side was deeply inspiring.

🙌 WORSHIP IN ACTION.
Every act of service became a reflection of God’s love in motion. We witnessed the hands and feet of Jesus at work through everyone involved.
