We’re still buzzing from all the joy and connections made during our Fall Kickoff Week, and we wanted to share some of the incredible moments we’re celebrating as a community! 🎉

Since September 6th, we’ve welcomed over 350 young adults in our doors! And the best part is the joy didn’t stop on Friday night — for an entire week, we celebrated kicking off our year’s programming.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

This past Saturday was our Summer Kickoff, the official launch for our summer programming here at tre! To celebrate, we organized a Sand Volleyball Tournament and took control of digz Volleyball courts for the day! It was a great day in the sun, hanging out, having friendly competition, and getting to know other young adults.

It’s almost summer! Welcome to the days of more sunshine! ☀️ With the changing of weather comes a new season and rhythm of life for many…including here at tre Ministries! Last Friday was our official End of Year Celebration, and we wanted to reflect and celebrate some of the things God has done this year in our community and through our young adults! Our heart for our monthly prayer calendars is to surround young adults, young families, and students in arguably the best way we can - through lifting them up in prayer. Unity in the body of Christ is powerful; as we approach the throne with boldness and intercede on behalf of others, our faith is strengthened, and God invites us to partner with Him to impact cities, communities, and hearts and bring glimpses of His kingdom to earth.

Our word for 2023 as a ministry was obedience. Committing to obeying the Lord’s direction and leading fosters unity among staff, young adults, and those who partner with us, as we trust that whatever we walked toward was in alignment with bringing belonging, purpose, and hope. 2023 was a year of clarity, commitment, and open hands and hearts to see where the Lord was calling us.

Let’s make it our mission this year to be a people in prayer for those around us, our community, and the world. That God would fill people with His love, that He would open eyes and draw hearts nearer to Him! Below are prayer prompts for each day of January. Welcome to December and the rush of the holiday season! With Christmas right around the corner, and a new year coming soon, it is vastly important that we root ourselves in prayer and the Lord’s steadiness. While this time can be busy with joy, laughter, and gratitude, we are also aware that for many people this season brings heightened grief, anxiety, and loneliness.

The Lord is so gracious in His love for us. The opportunity of joining the Lord as His fights on our behalf is a beautiful part of prayer! The buzz of excitement continues here at tre Ministries as our Fall programming has officially begun! Whether you have known us for all 5 years, or whether you are new to tre, we are so grateful for your support: we have seen God’s faithfulness time and again through you and the whole tre family. We are officially into August, and we could not be more excited! At tre, we say that quite a bit…but this time the extra energy is tangible! Why? Because August marks tre Ministries’ 5th birthday! In August 2018, tre was officially established! For this month’s blog, we sat down with tre’s CEO and founder, Sandy Berven, to talk all about 5 years! The journey, the milestone, looking back on all God has done, and looking forward to all that is coming!
